Birthday Belle for Noor! Design UK

 Hello and good morning everyone!

I hope you're doing fine and have had a wonderful first advent. Soon we have December, the Christmas month. But also in December there are Birthdays. Also my mum's Birthday is in December, on the 23rd. So I used sweet Birthday Belle from Whimsy Stamps to create a Birthday card. I also used the Maja Design I wish papers for my card. So you see you can use it for other occasions too, not only Christmas. I so LOVE this paper collection. My fave so far... but hey, don't I say that with each new collection coming out? ;-)

Below you can see a close up of my coloring. I made the coloration with Distress Inks.

Those metal leafs are so gorgeous. They were part of the October Crafteeze Collection and are now also available in the shop.

I also so love those metal frames. You can put an image you like into them to highlight your card.

Thank you so much for your visit. Have a happy day!
Hugs, Karina

Paperbag Card for Noor! Design UK and All About Magnolia Challenges

Hello everyone, are you also already in Christmas mood? I am and enjoy to make Christmas themed projects at the moment. Do you like to make a special Christmas card this season? Then I am sure you will love to create a paper bag card. I so love to make them. They are so fun and really simple to make. Look, I will show you...

take a paperbag of any size you like it. Mine is 20 x 12 cm, that makes a card of 10 x 12 cm.

Fold the paperbag in the middle as shown below...

And now you're ready to decorate... front, inside, backside, and the inlay.

Below you can see the closed card and the front...Be sure to add the seam binding to close the card before you glue the front panel to the card. I coloured the sweet image with Distress Inks.

I created a pocket on the front of the card to add the two tags.

Below you can see the inside... Glue the two edges of the paperbag ground down to give a tag a better hold.

And we have a hidden panel as well, who is hidden inside the paper bag. Add a strap at the one side of the panel to get it out of the bag.

And here you can see the backside of the paperbag card. Also be sure here as well to glue the seam binding before you glue the back panel to the paper bag.

I hope you liked my  tutorial and I was able to inspire you. If you have any questions just feel free to ask. I LOVE to make those cards. They are so much fun to create and are great to use your paper left overs. Look out; it's danger to get addicted :o)

I also made this card as a reminder at the All About Magnolia Challenges where we have the theme 'All About The Holy Night'. We look forward seeing you joining our challenge. There is still some time to join.

 Have a happy day now!
Hugs, Karina

Walk to the Tree Farm for Noor! Design UK

Hello everyone, hope you're doing fine and had a happy weekend. It's crazy as in just few weeks it is Christmas... so still time to get your cards ready. Just as I do. Today I show you my latest make, using one of my fave shapes of Dutch Doobadoo; the Snow Globe. It is so great to create Winter and Christmas themed cards with it.

The papers from Pion Design 'The Night Before Christmas' is perfect for this project as I love to put an image highlighted in the globes center.

A close up of this sweet image, two kids om the way to the tree farm. I added some White Chunky Frantage to give it the effect as it would snow.

I added some more die cutted trees to the left an the right of the globe to give it more the scene effect.

This gorgeous Scrapiniec ornament is a perfect add...

And a chipboard christmas tree in the middle of the die cutted trees...

Thank you very much for your visit. Have a happy day!
Hugs, Karina
